Who is responsible

Calm Grind is published by Paul Kemp, who operates this website. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to hello@calmgrind.com.

Information used by the site

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate visits, page use, device and browser information, and approximate location. Google may set or read cookies and process technical identifiers according to its own terms. Where consent is legally required, analytics should remain disabled until that choice is recorded.

Contact and newsletter forms

Forms are provided through HubSpot. When you submit one, the information you enter, submission time, and related technical data are sent to HubSpot so Calm Grind can answer the request or provide the subscription you selected. Do not submit sensitive personal information through these forms.

Advertising

If Google AdSense advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, measure, and limit ads. Depending on your location and choices, ads may be personalised or non-personalised. You can learn more and manage Google advertising choices at My Ad Center.

Field-note worksheets

Notes and checklist state saved through an article’s “Save on this device” button are stored in your browser’s local storage. The site does not transmit those notes to Calm Grind. Clearing site data in your browser removes them.

Purposes and retention

Analytics is used to understand and improve the site. Contact data is used to answer messages. Subscription data is used to send requested communications and manage opt-out choices. Data is kept only as long as needed for those purposes, legal obligations, dispute handling, and security.

Sharing and processors

Information may be processed by hosting, analytics, form, email, security, and advertising providers working on the site. It may also be disclosed when required by law or needed to protect rights and security. Calm Grind does not describe the use of service providers as a sale of your contact-message content.

Your choices and rights

Blocking some storage or scripts may prevent forms, saved field notes, analytics, or advertising from working.

International processing and security

Service providers may process data in countries other than your own, using the safeguards available under their terms and applicable law. No internet service can guarantee absolute security; we use proportionate technical and organisational measures and limit collection where practical.

Changes

We may update this notice when the site, providers, or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
